Rockcastle County Vital Statistics gives Joseph and Julia Clark as the parents of Wallis Clark, Sr.
Wallis Clark, Sr. was bonded out to Jacob and Frederick Miller to learn all the common arts and miseries of the hatting business -[6]
He appears on the Tax list in 1822.
Davis Laswell was appointed administrator of Wallis, Sr.'s estate July 8th, 1876, with Samuel Laswell as surety. [7]
