Biography

Captain Thomas Clark was born on the 29th of May 1704 in Newton, Massachusetts.^[1] He was the son of John Clark (1680-1730) and Ann (Bird) Clark (1671-1747).

According to the Descendants of Hugh Clark, Capt. Thomas Clark m. Apr. 2, 1728, Mary (Bowen) Clark (1704-1775), dau. of Isaac Bowen, of Newton. He was selectman of Newton 1749, and soon after moved to Hopkinton, where he died June 30, 1775. His wife died June 17, 1775, ae. 69. ^[2][3] They raised ten children.
