Hi Jason, can you please check and allow the merge for Baldock-104? You have profile manager powers on that one.

Small point perhaps but I noted your recent Peveral edits. I am thinking these might be direct quotations from the source mentioned in the footnotes? But just adding a source footnote to a paragraph does not mean the paragraph is a direct quote. It is important on Wikitree to identify direct quotes as direct quotes in one of the various recognized ways.

Hi Jason

Thank you for adding your DNA Test to your profile on WikiTree. Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

DNA at WikiTree provides a visual way for you to find others who have tested and have the potential of having common ancestors. It normally takes 24 hours from adding a test, or adding a new ancestor, or ancestor’s descendant, for WikiTree to display your name and test results on your ancestors and their descendants’ profiles for potential cousins to compare results with.

Have fun!

Hello, Jason,

It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Military and War Project, and we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.

If you wish to remain, please let us know how you have been contributing to the tasks and goals of the project or any of its sub-projects recently, it would be very helpful to the leaders.

If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things and remove you from the project. You will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you,

Deb ~ Volunteer Coordinator

Hello, Jason,

On behalf of the Military and War Project Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members.

First, we want to thank you for your past participation in the project. We appreciate your desire to honor your ancestors for their service to their countries, or even for your service, wherever in the world. We hope that your membership has enhanced your WikiTree experience.

Please let me know, by commenting on my profile or sending a private message, if you are still active in the project, and if so, in a general sense how you may have contributed to the main project or any sub-projects within the last couple months.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Jason,

I’ve not heard back from you so presume you don’t want to continue in the Canada Project at this time so have gone ahead and removed your badge. If that changes anytime you would be most welcome to re-join in the future.

Hi Jason,

I haven’t yet heard back from you to say whether or not you’d like to continue in the Canada Project. Please can you let me know if you’d like to stay, what team(s) you’d like to be in, and let me know your e-mail address so I can add you to the project Google Group? If I haven’t heard back from you by this time next week I’ll assume you no longer want to be in the project and go ahead and remove you. You would, of course, be most welcome to re-join at any time.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi Jason,

Greg Lavoie, Dave Rutherford and I have put a lot of work into restructuring the Canada Project. Have a look at the new project page.

You'll see that we've changed the project name to the Canada Project and the badge will be changed shortly. We've done this in order to provide lots of ways for people to contribute to Canadian Profiles. We've also moved towards a team approach with top level teams being lead by Project Coordinators and sub-teams being lead by Team Leaders.

Would you like to continue in the Canada Project, and if so, which team(s) would you like to be on?

Let me know if you have any questions. Once I hear back from you I'll add you to the Google group and get you set up in your team(s).

Hi, Jason,

Surnames Bearss and Hoover are in my tree also. I believe we are cousins.

Hello Jason, I notice you added an image to many Ferrers and related profiles, of a Ferrers Pedigree, about a year ago. As you have noted there are many mistakes in the pedigree. I'm just trying to untangle some bad merges in the Ferrers family and I'm wondering whether it is better to remove the image altogether as it is in some ways adding to the confusion. Thank you for considering this request.

Jason, I noticed that you added parents for Eli Hoover. can you add the source for this information? Thanks so much.
