Biography
Not proven to be William's father! This is a hypothesis put forth by historian Angela Clyburn. This John Clyburn had a stepfather named Joshua Stapp, for whom John's (hypothesized) son Joshua Clyburn could have been named. This John was not identical to 'John of Dale Parish' although the DNA evidence from the descendants of William and Joshua Clyburn show that they were closely related.
