George married Emme Hill, daughter of John Hill, in Pocklington, Yorkshire on 6 August 1695.^[1]

They had at least two children, baptised at Pocklington:

• George (1697).^[2]
• Sarah (1706)^[3]

They had a stillborn child on 29 August 1702, who was not named.^[4]
