Sherry was born Dixie Lee Doyle; at about 2 years old, she and her full sister and 3 half siblings were removed from their mother's care by the Wisc. Social workers. Sherry and sister Carole were put up for adoption. 'Dixie' became Sharon Bette Koepp. Sherry married Roger William Sievert and became 'Sherry' Sievert. Roger served in the USAF for over 20 years; he retired and studied for the ministry and became ordained. He pastored 2 churches before He passed away in 1985. Sherry and Roger had four children, 2 boys, 2 girls; Sherry has 7 grandchildren (1 adopted) and 12 great-grandchildren (2 adopted, 1 step). Sherry and youngest daughter raised Arabian horses for about 20 years. Sherry also taught crafts, decorated cakes, played piano and organ for many of the churches that she and Roger attended while he served in the AF. For the last 20 years, many hours have been spent searching her ancestry.
Sherry lives with her youngest daughter and is a support person for Central Lakes Search and Rescue in rural Minnesota for which her daughter is a K-9 handler.
After over 18 years of searching my Ancestry, I have finally found two lines to the Mayflower Passenger Richard Warren-66; One through my maternal lineage to his Daughter Anna; The other through my paternal lineage to his daughter Abigail.

In Dec. my granddaughter traveled to Scotland & Ireland. She brought me back a beautiful "Heritage of Scotland Tartan. Since I had my DNA done and found that I was heavy Scottish (I had no clue as I was adopted) with Northern Scotland #1 and Southern Scotland as #3. Since then, I have spent a lot of time filling in the history/people behind me. Hopefully, I can continue with my searches - but at my age (83) who knows what The Lord has planned for me!
It is once again time for our annual Scotland Project check-in. Please respond within the next three weeks to let us know:
•If you would like to continue as a project member •If you are happy with your current teams or would you like to join a different team •How much time per month (on average) you spend working on Scottish profiles •Anything you’d like the Scotland Project to do more of in the future
You can respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. If we don’t hear from you within the next three weeks we’ll assume your interests have changed or you are no longer able to participate in the Scotland Project at this time, and your badge will be removed. If your circumstances change later you will be welcome to reapply for membership.
On behalf of the Scotland Project, I would like to thank you for your commitment to the project's goals. Every single contribution you make helps improve Scottish profiles!

It’s time for a Project check-in!
Scotland Project Leaders check in with you at least once a year to see how you are doing. With the changes happening around the world, we understand that life is hectic right now.
What are you planning to work on for the Scotland Project this year? Are you happy with the team(s) you part of, or would you like to make some changes?
This time round, we’re also looking for feedback on the use of Google Group and Discord. Do you use one or both of these? If you don’t use either of them, what is the best way to ensure you receive Project communications? If you would like to join us on Google Group or Discord, let us know in your response.
This year so far has been one crisis after another, and I've spent very little time on my ancestry searches. I'm still interested in finding out more of my Scottish background.
As a member of the Scotland Project, we'd love to have you join the Twisted Thistles in the upcoming Connect-a-thon the weekend of July 17 - July 20. If you'd like to join us and help to develop our ever-expanding Scottish tree, please register on the G2G post here and be sure to mention you'd like to be on the Twisted Thistles team for Scotland.
We also have our team Chat page posted here.
I hope all goes well with your procedure! If you find that you need some entertainment during recovery - the -thon is in July, not June. No pressure, just want to make sure you're aware that it's a month away.

My name is Sarah and I’m the Project Coordinator for the Scotland Project. As you may have heard, we have merged the Scottish Clans project into the Scotland Project. I am contacting you today to find out if you are interested in continuing with us under this new format. If you would like to go forward on the Scottish Clans Team, please reply and let me know which clans you have been working on or would like to work on. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
Sarah Mason, Scotland PC
I really want to get back to verifying my many Scottish lines - so many clans showed up but I've been having trouble to get them verified because the info back in Scotland is lean. Thank goodness, my DNA show heavy Scottish, both northern and southern. So some of those lines should be correct, wouldn't you think?
Mindy
I sent you a step by step guide to adding the England Project as manager to a profile to your personal email, as I can't add pictures using the Wikitree private messaging system.
Hope you got it OK
Jo
Welcome to the Scottish Clans Project. I've added the project badge to your profile and your name to the members interest page. Here you can let others know what you are working on.
