I have nothing to offer... I would have to agree with your assessment... I adopted a series of orphan files many months ago that lacked documentation, with the idea of following up. I have not gotten to this profile yet. However, as I now look at it, it does not match any of my records and I also ask the same questions as you ask....the same with Ruth in the same family group.

What contemporary primary source evidences a) the historical existence of this woman, b) the specific dates and places asserted in this profile, and c) her placement in this family group, ie her parents? I don't see an Agnes mentioned in her notional father Peter's will; which is odd, if she outlived him, no?
