Amos Cohea and Sarah Prouse were removed as parents. They can be reconnected if proof can be found.
This family has some issues. We have thouhgt that he is the grandson of Amos and son of Perry Sr. Only issue is birth dates not matching up. There is also issues with his children. His will States his children as Edmond W. Cohea (Edward Ulysses), Eliza Jane Cohea Collins Stone, George Jefferson Cohea, David A. Cohea, Sophia A. Cohea Jelks (deceased), John Cohea and Maria Francis Cohea. Researchers only agree with will on 1 child, Eliza. They have children of Perry, Jr and Martha as Eliza Jane Cohea Collins Stone, Fannie M Cohea Davis, Ann Cohea Uzzell, Richard Cohea, Perry D. Cohea. Children of Perry, Jr and Mary are Elizabeth G Cohea, Cordelia F. Cohea and Mary A Cohea. Through obituaries and death records I have been able to prove several more children. Elizabeth Courtney Cohea, Mary A Cohea Poindexter, James Calvin Cohea, Perry Decatur Cohea and Cordelia F. Cohea. Still can't prove Fannie M Cohea Davis, Ann Cohea Uzzell (likely) and Richard Cohea (Likely)
Leaving daughter Ann as a daughter until we can prove who she belongs to. Will mark her parents as uncertain.
Obituary notice claims he was 65 when he died putting his date of birth at 1783. His tombstone says 1779
