Robert R. Coleman, the son of Robert Coleman and Elizabeth Roe was born about 1769.

Robert died in 1844 (aged 74). His will was probated 7 October 1844 in Fairfield, South Carolina. Probate Records, Book O Vol 16-Book Q Vol 18, 1831-1848. [4]

Research Notes

In Hill and Hill-Moberly Connections is mentioned a Robert R. Coleman, farmer sold to Dt. Mourning Coleman, a negro girl on 01 Mar 1795, witnessed by Anderson Thomas and William Chapman. Robert R. Coleman sold to son-in-law William Chapman one negro woman on 31 Mar 1795. In this deed, he names his children -- Sarah Chapman and two sons in law William Chapman and Isaiah Coleman. Three daughters who were married and his two youngest daughters, who were single. Witnesses were Anderson Thomas and Thomas Coleman (Robert's son). [5]

The Coleman/Feaster/Mobley family reunion is held every year on the first weekend of October in historic Feasterville, South Carolina.[6]
