Biography

When Martha Pearlee 'Pearl' Collett was born on December 24, 1882, in Georgia, her father, Enoch, was 45, and her mother, Cynthia, was 44. She married John Henry Cox on December 8, 1901, in Cherokee, Georgia.[1] They had at least 7 children (one child died before 1910) in 17 years

  • Clyde M (1908–1984)
  • Claude L (1910–1982)
  • Clarence E (1911–1971)
  • Cleon Clara (1917–1998)[2]
  • Hubert Leon (1921–2005)[3]

John died in 1928 and Pearl died on August 27, 1941, in Forsyth,[4] Georgia, at the age of 58, and was buried in Cherokee, Georgia.[5]
