Biography

Caleb was born in 1719. He was named in the will of his father James Colvin.[1]

He married Anne Burlingame on 3 August 1740 at Providence, Rhode Island. He was living at Scituate at the time; Anne was from Providence.[2]

According to a local history text, Caleb was the son of Reverand James Colvin, from whom he inherited land in Coventry, Rhode Island. He was, according to the text, "a prosperous farmer" in Coventry. His wife, Anne, was the daughter of Reverand Thomas Burlingame.[3]

Caleb Colvin passed away in 1789. [4]
