Biography

Scholastique Comeau, daughter of Pierre Comeau (~1768–1810) and Cécile Marie Langlois (~1772–1843), was born on November 24, 1792 in Opelousas, Louisiana.[1][2]

Scholastique (15) married Jean Louis Gaspard (19) (born about 1787 in Côte des Allemands, Louisiana, New Spain; son of Simon Caspar Gaspard and Marie Jeanne Luquette) on December 21, 1807 in St. Martinville, Louisiana.[3]

She died at an unknown date sometime after the 1821 birth of her son George.
