Biography

Joseph Commings was born on February 05, 1733 in Middleton, Essex County, Massachusetts. His parents were John Cummings and Mary Larrabee. [1]

Joseph Comings "of Southboro" married Elizabeth Allard on September 11, 1753. [2]

Together they had these children:

    Captain Joseph (Commings) Cummings served with 18th Massachusetts Bay Provincial Regiment (1775), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Cpl. Joseph Cummings was in Capt. Ichabod Dexter's company of Minute men, Col. Ephraim Doolittle's regt., which marched on the alarm of April 19, 1775. [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

He died on February 25, 1818 in Athol, Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States.
