Biography

Edmund Connelly was born on 02 Jun 1775, Guilford County, North Carolina. Edmund was the son of Capt. Henry and Ann (MacGregor) Connelly. He was married to Lydia Joynes, followed by Nancy (Williams) Tackett. He passed away in 1865, and was laid to rest at the Caudill Cemetery, Johnson County, Kentucky.

Note

In Feb 2012, an article appeared in the Salyersville Independent which listed his gravesite as unmarked, and detailed how they were collecting money to erect a marker. According to the article, "He was buried in the "Edmund Field" above what has become known as the Abel Caudill Cemetery".
