In the case of Thomas v Thomas, the petitioner, Sydney Warren Thomas, petitioned for a dissolution of his marriage with Irene Mabel Thomas on the grounds of her misconduct with Chris Dickman. The adultery was alleged to have taken place on March 31, 1923.
An order nisi for the dissolution of the marriage was made returnable in three months.
Her second marriage was to Reginald Herbert William Thomas at the Ann Street Presbyterian Church, Brisbane, on the 17th of October, 1931.[3][4] In 1936 they were living in Brisbane.[5]
