Ross - text on Cocke-616 said that he was probably the grandson of William and Joane (Roper) Cooke, so I attached him as a child of John & Hannah, even though his dates don't match the text on this profile, that has for their son John "(1687-1743)".

How can Robert who is shown as born 1687 England be a son of John born in Virginia in 1658?

For what it's worth, Henry is named as an heir, but not identified as his son (sometimes the "my son" phrase was left out in wills though, so inconclusive). John is identified as his son. Dau. Joanna Cook, and Elizabeth either dau. or a son's wife. Wife at his death was Avis and she was widow of Wm. Killingsworth who died1709. So Avis was not the mother of the Cook children.
