Biography

Alice Evelyn Coombs was born Jan 1894, in Massachusetts, to Eseck Washington Coombs and Jennie Weaver, their last child and third daughter. She was baptized on 5 April 1896 at the Trinity Methodist Episcopalian Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts. [1]

In the 1900 Census, it shows Alice living with her older sister Hattie and her husband James along with his brother Henry. Alice and Hattie's mother Jennie was living there as well. Alice was 6 at the time. [2]

By the time Alice was 16, in 1920, she and her mother were living with Charles Pickles, a cousin of Jennie's, in Boston Massachusetts. [3]

May have lived in Waltham, Mass, with her husband Frank Langley.[4]
