Margaret was born February 21, 1799.[1] Nine of Henry's children including Margaret do not appear in church baptism records so it is possible that the family may have belonged to the Baptist church which did not do infant baptisms.
Margaret apparently never married. She was a housekeeper for George Hobson in the Rawdon census sub-district in Hants County. She appears in the 1861 census[2] ... only George is named but he is single and one single female aged 60-70 in his household. She appears in his house in the census of 1871[3] and identified as his housekeeper in 1881.[4] In both census reports, she is identified as Baptist so likely was raised and remained Baptist all her life. Her sister, Mary Etter, lived nearby in 1871.
Margaret's date of death is not known.
