Noah was born on 4 Jan 1877 in Marion County, Illinois.[1]
In 1880, he was 3 years old and the youngest child of four in the household. They were living and farming in Meacham Township, Marion County, Illinois.[2]
He married Laura M. Slagley on 7 Oct 1894 in Marion County, Illinois when he was 19 years old and Laura was 16.[3]
In 1900, Noah and Laura were still living in Meacham Township in Marion County, Illinois next door to Laura's parents.[4] They continued to live in Meacham Township in 1910, and there were five children in the household -- Fred, Lillie, Andrew, Nellie, and Paul.[5]
Noah registered for the World War I draft on 12 Apr 1918 in Marion County, Illinois. He listed his wife Laura as his next of kin.[6]
About 2-1/2 years after Laura died, Noah remarried to Julia E. Meeks on 19 Oct 1924 in Fairfield, Wayne County, Illinois.[8] In 1930, they were living in Fairfield, Wayne County, Illinois. Noah gave his occupation as Clergyman on this census listing.[9]
The 1940 Census shows that Noah and Julia remained in Fairfield, Illinois. He was working as a carpenter.[10]
Noah died sometime in 1949[citation needed] and he is buried in Courson Cemetery in Marion County, Illinois.[11]
