Biography

Sir Roger Covert a knight in the time of Edwards I and II, son of Sir Roger Covert and Mary or Isabell Camoys, husband of Isabell Savage and father of Richard, Rowland, Issobell, Mary and Sir John.[1]

On 2 November 1314 he was listed as "Lord Roger de Covert" father of "Sir John de Covert" in a grant of land made at Sullynge (Sullington).[2]

Research Notes

To have had an adult son by 1314,[2] he must have been born well before 1280.
