Biography

Sir William Cowper, 2nd Bt. is the son of John Cowper and Martha Hewkley.[1] He married Sarah Holled, daughter of Samuel Holled and Anne (?), circa 8 April 1663.[2]

He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hertford.[3] He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Cowper, of Ratlin Court, co. Kent [E., 1642] on 10 December 1664.[4]
