Biography

Phyllis' cousin Lucille told her Basil B. Cox earned his doctorate at Brown University and taught at Wabash College in Montgomery County, Indiana. He later worked for Dupont and was instrumental in the development of nylon. Lucille and Basil's son Norman were nearly the same age and she knew the family well.[1]This information would seem to be at odds with the Ohio Death Record for Basil which lists his occupation as Boiler Fireman.
