Biography
When Hubert Leon Cox was born on March 4, 1921, in Cherokee, Georgia, his father, John, was 40 and his mother, Martha, was 38.[1] He had five brothers and was in the U.S. Navy. He had three sons and one daughter with Myrtle Louise Garmon. Myrtle died in 2001 and Leon died on March 1, 2005, in Loganville, Georgia,[2] at the age of 83, and was buried in Georgia.[3]
