COX.—October 26, at his parents' residence, Blenheim, Carlingford, George Harrex, the beloved son of Frederick Charles and Eliza Cox, aged 23 years and 5 months. Loved by all who knew him.

I am very sorry to have to record the death of Mr. George Cox, second eldest son of the well-known and respected resident, Mr. F. C. Cox. The young gentleman, who was only 23 years of age, breathed his last on the eventful stormy night. He was a young man of great promise and highly respected by all who knew him, and will be much missed by his bereaved parents, relations, and a large circle of friends. His funeral took place on Sunday following, which moved from his father's house, Pennant, Hills, at 4.30, for the Church of England burial ground at Carlingford. I may say it was the largest funeral that has taken place here for some years.
