Hugh Craig was born about 1699 in Éire.

Hugh married Mary McLellan (born 1699 in Ireland; daughter of Hugh McLelland (abt. 1683–abt. 1731)).

Death

Hugh died about 1731, aged 31.

Death Cause

Hugh Craig drowned at sea when he and his family immigrated to North America.

Research Note

Per his wife's memorial (135000181), his first name was Hugh Crague, and they married in 1719. Fetterly-28 07:22, 24 April 2022 (UTC)

According to the source below, Hugh married Elizabeth Warren on Nov. 11,1719 of Palmouth (?) then moved to Windham, Maine. See p. 42 of "Windham in the Past" (below). This doesn't make sense if he drowned at sea. Fetterly-28 02:26, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
