Sarah Cram was born on July 10, 1787, in Raymond, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, the daughter of Benjamin Cram and Mary (Bean) Cram.[1][2] Sarah was the second of this family with the name, as the first Sarah, who was born in 1785, died in January, the year this Sarah was born.
On May 11, 1811, Sarah married Samuel Sanborn, son of Tristram Sanborn and Patience (Page) Sanborn. [3]

Sarah Sanborn, born August 24, 1811
Hiram Sanborn, born January 7, 1813, died 1834, unmarried
Dolly Sanborn, born 1815, died in infancy
Harriet Newell Sanborn, born 1817, did 1819
John Batchelder Sanborn, born 1819, died 1820
John Batchelder Sanborn, born 1821, married Harriet Butler, and lived in Palmyra, Maine
Samuel Sanborn, born 1823, married Berthana Douglas and lived in St Albans, Maine
Sarah (Cram) Sanborn died August 19, 1820 and was buried in the Lyford Cemetery, in Saint Albans, Somerset county, Maine. [4] After her death, Samuel married Sarah Mellows and they were the parents of seven additional children. [5]
