Jane Bonnell born April 1763, married 16 Jan 1782 by Rev. Jonathan Elmer/Elmore of the Presbyterian Church to Samuel Crane.[1]

Jane received a pension on 4 Mar 1836 based upon her husband's Revolutionary War service. [File W9822] She wrote a deposition when residing in Essex County, NJ, saying Samuel was in the service in Dec 1777 and had served 3y 11m. He was discharged at Elizabeth in 1781.

They removed to Preston Co., VA, then to Warren Co., OH and finally to Fountain Co., IN where she resides. Jonathan Crane, bro/o Samuel Crane, validated her claim on 14 Nov 1842.
