Roger Crews, born in 1808 in South Carolina brought his wife,
Minerva, to Nassau County from Camden during the Indian War. Their
children were Sam, Sarah Ann, Isham and Josh. Also with them were two
other children, Jane and Sam (relation unknown). This family moved
across the river to the Big Bend section and then into Baker County
for a short while.
