I am pretty limited on the ancestry game, just starting to research on other sites besides ancestry.com. I ran my GEDmatch number with Sue Ison and a Cole from Sue's page. I was amazed that the results. Some of the surnames in my tree that match your tree: Alan, Arnett, Howard, Minix, Risner and some of the others our in my indirect line.

Comparing Kit LR9050871 (Debra J. Reynolds Knight) [Ancestry] and Kit H509627 (Sherrie Shofroth) [Migration - F2 - H]

Looking for our common ancestors.

Debra J. Reynolds Knight

I made a couple improvements/suggestions to your husbands side but did not find his match to me.

Sherrie, you added to the bio of Benjamin Richmond-757 recently. He comes up with an error message that he is both a father and a brother. I can't find any info to correct him and many of the duplicate siblings shown as children. Can you look at that profile? https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Richmond-757

Thanks for the comment, cousin. I had never used Relationship Finder until now but I see it shows our relationship quite clearly.

Hi! You edited info about Rebecca Johnson, showing that her marriage to John Dixon ended in 1780 (instead of the 1799 that Glenn Dixon had entered). Looking around, that seems to be based on their FindAGrave memorials, but they just show m 1780 - no sources and no mention of an end date. Do you have a source for their marriage ending in 1780?

Thanks!

Hi Sherrie,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.
