Biography

He enlisted in the Confederate States of America Army May 14, l862 and was a Private, Company F, 20th South Carolina Infantry with Capt. John M. Kinard. He was captured by the Union Army and was listed as a P.O.W. at Strasburg, Virginia October 19, 1864. He died of disease there December 21, 1864.[1]
