Biography
Family researcher Marty Grant says that there is not any direct evidence of Mary's maiden name being Cross, though there is some circumstantial evidence supporting her being a sister of Joseph Cross, born c. 1747.
A marriage bond for a John Miller and a Mary Goss was issued on 20 June 1783 in Rowan County, North Carolina.[1]
