Biography
William "Buck" Crowder was born April 13, 1892[1][2] in Indian Territory, Oklahoma. He was the son of Bill Crowder and Josephine Taylor. He was Native American of the Choctaw tribe.[3] At age 8, he was in his parent's home in Township 7, Chactaw Nation, Indian Territory, along with his siblings, Mary-23, Abely-14, Maggie-12, Rosa-10, and William-8.[4]
He died on March 16, 1976, at the age of 83, in Hugo, Choctaw, Oklahoma.[2] He was buried in the Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Choctaw County, Oklahoma.[1]
