Biography

Elmer was born in 1890. He is the son of George Cryderman and Nellie Pringle.

Appeared in the 1901 Canada Census in North Gwillimbury, York, Ontario. The household included: George age 35; Ellena age 34; Sophia age 15; Jennett C. age 11; Elmer age 10; John age 7.

Appeared in the 1911 Canada Census in Georgina, York, Ontario. The household included: George age 48, occupation farmer; Sophia age 47; Almer age 19, occupation labourer; John age 17.

Appeared in the 1911 Canada Census in Holland Landing, York, Ontario. The household included: Melvin age 29, occupation labourer; Thompson [Sophia] age 25; Simeon age 7; Edgar age 5; Nellie age 3; Doubias age 17, occupation labourer; Elmer Cryderman age 19, boarder, occupation labourer.

Elmer Cryderman
Elmer Cryderman, 67, of 150 W. Goguac street, Battle Creek, died unexpectedly Wednesday of a heart attack in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Melvin F. Morris, 2015 Tenth street.
Mr. Cryderman was a retired Grand Trunk railroad employee and had been staying at his daughter's home in recent months. He was born in Sutton, Ont., March 31, 1891. His wife, Olive, died Sept. 5, 1958.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edward Morrison and Mrs. Morris, both of Port Huron; a son, Ted Cryderman, Battle Creek; five grandchildren; tow sisters, mrs. Larry Kays, Algonac and Mrs. Melvin Thompson, Lefory, Ont., and a brother Jack Cryderman, New Market, Ont.
The remains were removed today from the Arthur Smith funeral home to the Royal funeral home, Battle Creek, for services at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Burial will be in Reese Cemetery, Springfield, Mich.

Buried in Reese Cemetery, Springfield, Calhoun, Michigan.
