Biography

Archibald was born in 1770. He was the son of Corneilus Autrey and Elizabeth Culbertson.

He lived in Sampson County all of his life. He was the husband of Mary "Polly" Horne. They had 6 children.

In his will Archibald mentions his wife son Job and his granddaughters Jeanette and Harriet. He most likely divided his estate prior to his death.

In 1844 his wife Polly was living with their daughter Drucillia Culbreth Hall.

He passed away in 1844.

I think that this needs to be corrected; the parents that are listed here under Archibald's biography, Cornelius Autrey and Elizabeth Culbertson, are his maternal grandparents.
