In the directory for 1963, Hugh and Muriel Cunningham were living at 21645 Ridgeway Crescent in Maple Ridge, BC. Hugh was retired at this time. ^[6]

Helen Muriel Cunningham passed away on 7 January 1978 at the age of 83 on Saltspring Island, BC. She was buried in Maple Ridge Cemetery with her husband Hugh.^[7]
