Helen was born on 5 November 1894 in New Westminster, BC to James Alexander & Marion Lee Cunningham

The 1901 Census had the family living at 419 5th Avenue in New Westminster, BC.[1]

In 1921, the Cunningham family had moved to a home on Deer Lake in Burnaby, BC. This is also the year that Muriel married Hugh Stone Cunningham on 26 April 1921 on the lawn of Muriel's parents home.[4]

Muriel & Hugh lived in Port Moody from 1921-1942. Hugh was a foreman working with Union Oil. In 1942, they moved to Port Hammond, BC. They had 2 boys, Ronald Hugh Cunningham in 1922 & Francis Alexander Cunningham in 1923 & a daughter, Patricia Cunningham in 1925.[5]

In the directory for 1963, Hugh and Muriel Cunningham were living at 21645 Ridgeway Crescent in Maple Ridge, BC. Hugh was retired at this time. [6]

Helen Muriel Cunningham passed away on 7 January 1978 at the age of 83 on Saltspring Island, BC. She was buried in Maple Ridge Cemetery with her husband Hugh.[7]
