Biography
Carmelo Cutrera is born 5 February 1904 in Corleone and baptized three days later. He is the son of Bernardo Cutrera and Salvatrice Ligotino. His godfather is Rocco Mancuso, who is single.[1]
Bernardo Cutrera, age 27, a literate barber, immigrates with his wife, Salvatrice, age 23, and two children, Antonino, 5, and Carmelo, 1, on the SS Algeria, arriving in New York on 16 October 1905. They are meeting her uncle Gaetano Petranella at 240 East 107th St in New York.[2]
