Ulysses Cyrus (age 18) married Gracie Ealm (age 16) on 25 August 1887, Wayne County, West Virginia. Gracie was born in Lawrence County, Ohio the daughter of John P. and Mary Ealm. Ulysses Cyrus was the son of Henry Cyrus and Ellen Daniels. The marriage ceremony was performed at Henry Cyrus' by James G. Smith.[3]
About 1894 Ulysses took his family to Craighead County, Arkansas where he was a farmer. [4]

Ulyses [sic] Cyrus (age 42) married Lillie Adkins (age 25) on 20 February 1911 in Wayne County, West Virginia. They were married at the home of Leander Ballenger by Minister Allen Smith. [7]
He died 25 August 1962 in Boyd County, Kentucky. [8]
He was buried in the Bash Cemetery, Catlettsburg, Boyd County, Kentucky. [9]
