Biography

According to Dalton biographer, Nancy Samuelson, Nancy Dalton married Robert Noel in Kentucky ^[1] and they then moved to California in the 1850s. ^[2] She states they both lived to beyond eighty years of age. ^[2]

They were living in Stony Creek, Colusa, California in 1870. ^[3] Also living with them was her mother, Nancy Dalton. ^[3]

Research Notes

Nancy Noel, who lived in Sutter County, California, died 31 August 1887. A newspaper article appeared that mentioned her death as the reason Reverend T. H. B Anderson, rom Colusa, was summoned to Sutter County. ^[4]
