Mary Dane was born about 1636, daughter of John Dane and his first wife Eleanor Clark, who first settled at Roxbury, Massachusetts but removed to Ipswich, Massachusetts by 1636. [1][2]
Mary married William Chandler Jr. of Andover on August 23/24, 1658. [3][1] Her husband William was baptized on May 20, 1635/6 at Bishops Stortford, the son of William and Agnes/Annis (Bayford) Chandler. [4]
Mary died at Andover Massachusetts on May 10, 1679. [3]
Five months after the death of his first wife, William Chandler married Bridget Henchman on October 8, 1679. [3][5]
John, born in 1665; died December 28, 1681, aged 16. [3]
Philemon, born on August 24, 1667; died May 6, 1668. [3]
Thomas (2d), born on March 2, 1668; died on October 6, 1670. [3]
Philemon (2d), born on September 4, 1671[3]; married first Hannah Clary/Cheaney at Cambridge on April 18, 1700 [8] ; married second Mrs. Patience Griggs of Woodstock, Connecticut on May 2, 1739. He died at Pomfret, Connecticut on May 7, 1752. [9]
Hannah, born on February 5, 1673 [3]: married Nathaniel Robbins. [6]
Thomas, born on December 5, 1676; died on November 7, 1751 [3]; married Mary Stevens.
