Biography

Mary Dane was born about 1636, daughter of John Dane and his first wife Eleanor Clark, who first settled at Roxbury, Massachusetts but removed to Ipswich, Massachusetts by 1636. [1] [2]

Mary married William Chandler Jr. of Andover on August 23/24, 1658. [3] [1] Her husband William was baptized on May 20, 1635/6 at Bishops Stortford, the son of William and Agnes/Annis (Bayford) Chandler. [4]

Mary died at Andover Massachusetts on May 10, 1679. [3]

Five months after the death of his first wife, William Chandler married Bridget Henchman on October 8, 1679. [3] [5]

William died at Andover in 1698. [4] [6]
