Biography

Sarah (Mentzel #33) was born in 1803. She married Charner Knight about 1828. [1][2] She died in 1840.

I have 36 DNA matches to this 3rd great grandmother. [Ancestry.com notification to Mary Knight McGarr, descended from Charner Hopson Knight and Sarah Clarissa Davis.]

Please stop removing the records to Charner Hopson Knight's first marriage to Sarah Clarissa Davis. What possible difference can it make that Charner was married three times? I'm glad that when his first wife died he was able to find another wife, and that when she died he found yet another one. The man obviously enjoyed his life and fathered a lot of children.

Please stop removing information about Sarah Davis and the marriage, his first, for Charner Knight and Sarah Davis.

It’s just unnecessary to not accept that Charner came to Alabama with his two oldest sons, bought land next to them. (Which is verified with numerous deeds And THEN married his second and third wives

What difference can it possibly make at this point in time how many wives he had! Do you really think that it somehow demeans YOUR ancestors when Charner was married to someone else first?

Your lack of veracity with regard to the facts is unbecoming a true genealogist.
