Research Notes
Only two Henry Davises died in 1914. The Henry who died in Waratah is the most likely because that is a suburb of Newcastle, where he was living, and has the correct father.
Find a Grave lists his burial as 3/5/1914 - this might actually be 5 March 1914 as the Waratah registration occurred in March. Requested a readable photo from FindAGrave volunteers.(Watson-15643 07:08, 9 June 2019 (UTC))
However, a funeral notice for a Henry Davis 3 March, 1914, lists a sister and brother in law Mr. and Mrs. M.F. Dawson. Burial in Sandgate matches (Family Notices (1914, March 3). The other registration was for Henry H Davis, father William, at Glebe. That registration was done in July 1914.
