Biography

Sampson was born to Giles Davis and Anne Davis in Lincoln County, West Virginia in 1877. He married Amanda Messer in Logan, West Virginia. When he passed he lived in Harts and he died at home. Samp succumbed to heart disease. [1] He is buried at Samp Davis Cemetery, Harts, Lincoln County, West Virginia[2]
