I trying to figure out where the John Davison (Davidson) who married Sarah Overton in Salem, Mass on 8 Mar 1719/20 fits (if at all) within this Davison group
This couple, per a history of Millbury, Mass, relocated to Sutton, Mass. possibly as early as April, 1720. John had bought land there. The history mentions a son Benjamin and his offspring. There is little mention of John or Sarah Davison in the Sutton record except as abutters of adjoining estates w/ the spelling of Davison or Davision. John probably died about 1763 when the farm reverted into the hands of Benjamin who went by the last name Davidson, There is an online tree showing John Davison (b. 1697) was the son of William Davison (1664-1728) and Mary Whipple. The Ipswich, Mass records show the the birth of 4 daughters but no sons of William and Mary. Any info. on this John Davison? Thanks.
