Biography

Amis Dawson ... [1]

There is an Amos Dawson that married a Sarah L Dawson in Maury county in 1877. Had Rebecca died, and Amos married a sister in law? Perhaps his brother had died, and they combined households?

The 1880 census lists an Amos Dawson and Louisa Dawson in Maury County.

More information here: http://person.ancestry.com/tree/106281837/person/230051980463/story says Rebecca Burgess died in childbirth in Cocke county in 1865.

Amos Dawson died without a will. J.C. Voorhies was named as administrator of his estate.
