John Daykin was born about 1780 in Tillstock, Shropshire, England. He was baptized July 27, 1780 in Whitchurch, Shropshire, England.[1] He was a son of Samuel Deakin and Anne.[1]
Marriage
He married Catherine Ion on September 16, 1805 in Kendal, Westmorland, England.[2] Together they had the following children: Samuel, Eden, Ann, John, Thomas Ion and Catherine Daykin.
