Anne Daynes was born on 25 Mar 1741 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut Colony, daughter of James Dains (1716 - 1779) and Elizabeth (Rood) Daynes (1716 -? ).

Anne Deans was born to parents James Daynes Elizabeth Rood on 25 March 1741. The Norwich record for her birth spells the surname "Deens"; for her siblings it was spelled "Deans" or "Deens."[1]
