She had seven sons and four daughters with John Sr. Rushing. She then married John Stinson on August 1, 1826, in Greene, Alabama. She died in August 1870 in Chickasaw, Mississippi, having lived a long life of 85 years. Amelia "Milly" Deason was married in North Carolina in 1805 when she was 20 years old. Her son Elijah Jeremiah was born on March 23, 1806, in North Carolina. His father John Sr. passed away on December 10, 1827, in Bedford, Tennessee, at the age of 51. Amelia "Milly" Deason married John Stinson in Greene, Alabama, on August 1, 1826, when she was 41 years old. His wife Amelia "Milly" passed away in August 1870 in Chickasaw, Mississippi, at the age of 85. They had been married 44 years.
