Anna appears in the Mississippi census records, living in Attala County. In the 1860 census she is a household head and in 1870 she is living alone. In 1880 she living some of her grandchildren. Her husband, Jacob, is not listed in any of the census records and indications are he died prior to 1850. The family has not yet been found in the 1850 census.
Anna is buried in New Hope Lutheran Church cemetery in Sallis, Attala County, Mississippi, and her tombstone states she was the wife of Jacob Stingley.
