Study of the original records (microfilm only) for St. Gabriel's (Morlatton) Episcopal Church, located at Douglasville, Amity twp., Berks Co., PA showed that William "DeWease," born on __ January 1733 (exact date not given) to Garret "DeWease" and his wife Mary, was
baptised there (as an adult) on 29 July 1753. I add that William's elder brother Cornelius (who also later migrated to S.W. VA) was also baptised there, as an adult, two weeks earlier.
