Biography

"(IV) John Dewey, son of Josiah Dewey, was born December 4, 1700, at Lebanon, Connecticut, and died September 4, 1773. He married, November 30, 1726, Experience Woodward, and they were the parents of eight children: Anna, Daniel, Josiah, John, of whom further; Mary, Ephraim, Orial, and Joshua."[1]
